    Overview

    This 5-hour professional development workshop will offer lived experienced perspectives on the neurodiversity paradigm, neurodivergent wellbeing and will explore how to apply neuro-affirming principals in your work and everyday life. This training is a special event for Whitecliffe Students, staff and the arts therapy community.

    The Facilitator

    Abi Raymond

    Abigail Raymond (she/her/ai)

    Neurodivergent (AuDHD) counsellor, arts therapist, clinical supervisor, trainer and mother based in Tāmaki Makaurau. My practice combines lived experience with professional training, research, and two decades of clinical experience. I work with whānau, schools, organisations, and professionals to develop neuro-inclusive and affirming supports that empower autistic and neurodivergent individuals. In my private practice I provide neuro-affirming support for parents of autistic and neurodivergent children, clinical supervision for professionals, and training on neurodivergent and queer affirming practice. I am a full member and approved supervisor with both NZAC and ANZACATA.

    When: Saturday 15th Feb (10am – 4pm)

    Where: Whitecliffe School of Art and Design, 5 Osterley Way, Manukau.

    Fees: $125 (incl. GST) (Limited spaces)

    This one day training includes tea, coffee, PD certificate and copy of slides. To keep costs low please bring your own food for the day.
